Okay guys!! Today, I'm going to tell you differences between an otaku, a typical anime fan and a weeaboo.
An otaku is pretty much too obsessed with anime. A typical anime fan is very typical. A weeaboo equals to anime wannabe.
No, come on! That wasn't enough to describe it, right?
I pretty much call myself an otaku even though I'm mostly a typical anime fan. Why? I know it's offensive in Japan to call someone an otaku. Otaku means someone who's pretty much obsessed with anything (mostly anime and manga) unhealthily. I also think that the word 'otaku' itself is an insult. But I like using it to describe myself. Why? Because I love anime UNHEALTHILY. I have watched anime for 8 hours straight. And my mom stopped me before I became an insomniac. Thanks mom. ^_^
I have this really annoying weeaboo friend. She really got on my nerves. Why? She insults me, an otaku. She said, "Otakus are fake. You don't even have any anime merchandise with you." And I'm like, what the hell? I already have a collection of anime merchandise, mostly Tokyo Ghoul. I've been to her place, and she doesn't even have a single merchandise with her. She also said, "You only watched your stupid shounen animes." For your information, I watched shounen, shoujo, ecchi, slice of life, horror, psychological, and many more. Seriously??
Okay, enough about that. Anyway, I'm a typical anime fan even though I call myself an otaku :P

I have always liked anime as a kid, but at 12, I accidentally watched K-ON! because I'm too bored. At that time, I was just flipping to some channels but luckily I found this anime. The first time I saw it, it got me captivated. The plot just really makes me crave for more. Oh yeah, the ending song is really good too!
After that, I began to search for more anime. After 3 months of watching anime, reading manga and articles from GoBoiano, I realized something. I'm an otaku lol.
